3. Ordering and Payment Terms

4. Shipping and Delivery

Processing Time: Orders are processed within 1-2 business days. Each plant is individually inspected and carefully packaged by our expert team.
Shipping Methods:
- Standard Shipping (£12.95): Shipped via DHL or FedEx, typically arriving within 10-15 business days after dispatch
- Free Shipping: Available on orders over £50, shipped via EMS, typically arriving within 15-25 business days after dispatch
Delivery timelines are estimates only and may be affected by factors beyond our control, including customs procedures and weather conditions.
Your Responsibilities: You are responsible for providing a secure delivery address where someone can receive the plants. If you are not available, you are responsible for following up with the carrier to arrange redelivery or collection. You must inspect plants upon delivery and notify us of any transit damage within 48 hours.
5. Returns and Exchanges
We want you to be delighted with your plants. Please see our Returns Policy for detailed information, but in summary:
We accept returns and exchanges for most items within 15 days of delivery. To be eligible, plants must be in their original, saleable condition with healthy and intact root systems.
Important Limitations:
- Exotic Plants and Hanging Basket Plants (which often contain exotic varieties) are final sale items due to their specialised and delicate nature
- We cannot accept returns for plants that have perished due to improper care or conditions after delivery
- Returns require a Return Merchandise Authorisation (RMA) number obtained by emailing [email protected]
- Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility unless the return results from our error
Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5-10 business days after we receive and inspect returned items. Original shipping costs are non-refundable.
6. Plant Health and Aftercare
We take utmost care to ensure plants leave our nursery in perfect health. However, plants are living organisms and their survival depends on many factors beyond our control, including:
- Appropriate planting upon receipt
- Suitable soil conditions
- Proper watering and sunlight
- Local climate and weather conditions
- Protection from pests and diseases
Your Responsibilities: Upon receipt, you assume all responsibility for the proper care and maintenance of your plants. We cannot guarantee survival once plants have been delivered to you and are subject to your care and local conditions.

7. Limitations of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Garden Whisper Shop shall not be liable for any indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages of any kind (including lost profits) related to your use of our website or products, regardless of the form of action.
Our total liability to you for any claim related to your order or use of our website shall not exceed the total amount you paid for the products in question.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law.
