Lamium maculatum ‘Pink Pewter’ is a robust hardy perennial that will be happy in shady positions in most soil types. This dead nettle is perfect for ground cover as it will quickly provide a covering of silvery foliage with deep green edges enhanced from April to mid summer with salmon pink flowers that pollinating insects will love. Due to the vigorous nature of its spread Lamium maculatum ‘Pink Pewter’ is the perfect choice for woodland and wildlife gardens, rockeries and borders where shade may be an issue for other plants. Height: 10cm (8″). Spread: 60cm (24″).

Plant Lamium in semi or dappled shade. Dead Nettles prefer a well drained, moist, fertile soil, but can cope well in drier soils once established. On drier soils, incorporate plenty of well rotted manure or compost prior to planting and choose a shaded position.
Water Lamium plants regularly throughout summer until fully established. Lift and divide overcrowded clumps of Dead Nettle in spring to maintain their vigour.
