Houttuynia Cordata ‘Chameleon’

This versatile little perennial is both moisture and drought tolerant, and thrives in almost any position from sun to dappled shade. The heart-shaped foliage of Houttuynia cordata ‘Chameleon’ is a splendid sight in shades of green, gold and red, with a pungent orange fragrance. Throughout mid-summer the spreading stems are covered in masses of white flowers. With its spreading habit, Houttuynia cordata ‘Chameleon’ is perfect for forming attractive ground cover as it wanders among rockeries, throughout borders or around boggy pond margins.
